Thrilled to be starting my new role as an Associate Banker managing relationships with US-Headquartered Global Corporates at Barclays Investment Bank's International Corporate Banking division from June.From the Deloitte Banking Operations Academy to my previous role as a contractor specialising in Financial Crime Risk and Controls, I am excited to take on a client-facing sales position at Barclays. Looking forward to contributing to the the Corporate Strategic Solutions team (more specifically within Captive Insurance!).

My two weeks at the Deloitte Investment Banking Operations Academy have come to an end, and I am very grateful for the experience and opportunity it has given me. Intensive, motivational, confidence-building, and informative - I am looking forward to a career in Banking Operations. Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to attend the 2023 LSE Alternative Investments Conference and was selected as one of 320 delegates, from some of the world's most prestigious universities.I gathered much knowledge from various industry leaders that included Blackstone, Goldman Sachs and Vanguard. Furthermore, I appreciated the insight given from different founders, including those from Nevé Capital, Stable and ByteTree Asset Management, amongst many more. Moreover, I have gained certification in Private Equity Acquisition from Financial Edge Training.It was amazing being able to network amongst many like-minded students that were more than passionate about alternatives. A big thank you to the students at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for their time and effort in sorting this event.
